Editorial policy

We write for Filipino families preparing on a budget, so every guide aims to be practical, plain and honest about trade-offs.

Safety first

Advice about health, first aid or dangerous situations is checked against our safety rules before it is published. When the authorities issue a warning or an instruction, follow it first.

Independence

No brand pays to be featured or sees an article before it is published. Some links to shops earn us a commission. It never decides what we recommend. See How we earn.

Keeping guides current

Hazards, prices and products change. We review our guides and show the date of the last change at the top of each one.
